Whether you need a moment to de-stress, or are nursing a cold, this warm and comforting drink is just the recipe to feel better. Try all four variations.

Ingredients

1 cup College Inn® Chicken or Beef Broth

1/2 cup water

1/2 cinnamon stick (approx. 1.5")

Directions
  1. Place all ingredients in a large microwave-safe mug.
  2. Microwave 2 minutes on HIGH.
  3. Steep 5 minutes before removing cinnamon stick.


VARIATIONS:  Prepare recipe as directed, except:

  • For Mild Herb Toddy, use chicken broth and 1 Tbsp. fresh rosemary or basil instead of cinnamon stick.
  • For Lemon Honey Toddy, use chicken broth and 1 Tbsp. lemon juice and 1 Tbsp. honey instead of cinnamon stick.
  • For Spicy Ginger Toddy, use chicken or beef broth and 1 Tbsp. coarsely chopped fresh ginger and a pinch of cayenne instead of cinnamon stick.
